Tater is approximately an 10 month-old Boxer/Shepherd mix weighing in at about 35 pounds of pure puppy charm. He is a little guy that is capable of BIG love and is a loyal little shadow that wants to folow his people wherever they go!   This sweet boy is a bit shy to start but eager to learn and is soaking up everything his foster family is teaching him.  Tater loves being outside whether he's running around the yard, playing with his foster brothers, playing in water, or simply stretching out in the grass to enjoy the sunshine. Tater was in a kennel in a high kill shelter for months after being confiscated for neglect, so it's no wonder he is thrilled to be in the fresh air, lounging on a soft bed and that he simply adores the affection of his foster family!   At the end of the day, Tater's favorite place is right next to you—especially if that means snuggling up in bed for a good night's sleep. He'd love a family that spends time outside in a fenced in yard or takes him to the lake for a dip in the water! All of our animals are in volunteer foster homes. Once an application is pre-approved (contingent upon a home check) we will contact applicants that are a good match and set up a time for a meet. All of our animals are spayed/neutered, examined by a vet, up-to-date on vaccinations, on heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, and microchipped. We adopt our animals as strictly inside companion pets. We will do a veterinarian reference check and a home safety check. We are located in Omaha, NE and we do not ship our animals. We are all volunteers so please be patient with us. Our requested adoption fees help go towards medical expenses, food, transportation, toys, and other supplies for our animals.
