This is Molly.
She was recently surrendered by her owner, who is 91 years old and having mini strokes daily. He’s terrified that something will happen to him and no one will give Molly a good home. So he’s asked for our help.

When walked around the neighborhood, she did wonderfully… even when a golden retriever charged the fence growling and barking, she just looked at him like, Why are you barking at me?
Molly is just super sweet! She loves to be outside weather permitting and she stays indoors at night.

* She’s potty trained
* She’s very docile low energy
* She walks great both on/off a leash
* She has great recall
* She gets along with other dogs
* She loves children of all ages
* She shows no interest in cats or squirrels

Currently this sweet baby is with our rescue, The Artemis Project, in Arkansas.

We DO, however, transport monthly to the metro Detroit area of MI. Because we’re able to transport, we ARE able to accept adoption applications directly from residents of MI.

Why do we transport? Because animal overpopulation is severe in our region, and stray and unwanted dogs have very little chance of finding a home here. These babies are, however, at a high risk of being neglected, abused, abandoned, euthanized or even shot (it’s “the way things are done” for some people down here). YOU are truly one of the only safe and happy endings for the lucky ones we are able to rescue.

Upon approval of your adoption application, we will then transport your new furbaby to you in the metro Detroit area for just a small travel expense fee of $50 in addition to the adoption fee.

Before we can change your new furbaby’s status from "adoptable" to "adoption pending," the $50 transport fee must be paid to secure the adoption. At that time, we will stop accepting applications.

The entire adoption fee must be paid prior to the transport in order to ensure your new baby has a spot on the transport.
