Meet lou
Lou was a return and is about 2 years old now. He is a special needs dog (half blind and deaf) with some behavioral issues, but no fault of his own! Looking for VERY experienced handlers with a lot of patience and grace! Lou can get along with other dogs, but unknown about children and recommend 1 dog companion or solo, due to his special requirements, nature, and separation anxiety. His bark/whine is loud, due to his deafness, and can be quite vocal when uneasy. Lou would thrive best in a household with a fenced yard, where he can run and play and will bring you toys to play with him! He is shy at first and takes time to warm up to others, but can become affectionate. Lou can become attached and protective over one person and seems to prefer men over women. Truly looking for a solo owner or couple that will fully invest and spend that extra time at his pace. He is neutered, heartworm negative, and fully up-to-date on his shots. His eye has also been assessed by several vets.
