Hi, I’m Yippee. Only a year old, and before being rescued from Baldwin Park Animal Care Center, I never had a real loving family and was found as a stray.
Yippee is a 63 pound male Husky/Shepherd mix (Shepsky) currently with his foster in San Diego, California. He is a one of a kind sweet boy who loves playing with other dogs and brings a fun, happy energy wherever he goes.
During his time at the shelter, Yippee quickly became the favorite among volunteers because of his affectionate personality, playful spirit, and the way he always sought attention and connection from people. Even in a stressful environment, he remained loving, social, and eager to interact with everyone he met.
Like many young dogs, Yippee is still learning basic manners and will benefit from continued training, structure, and consistency. He is smart, eager to learn, and very treat-motivated, which makes him highly trainable and excited to engage with his people.
Yippee deserves a forever home where he can continue growing, feel safe and loved, and finally have a place he can truly call his own.
