***Only completed applications that meet requirements will be reviewed.
***Since we are 100% foster-based rescue, only approved applications will be contacted or scheduled to meet our dogs
***We do not allow shipping & do not transport.
***You must live within 350 miles from Maryville, IL & be able to drive to the foster for a meet & greet in that area.
Bella & Harley are littermates that have been together in a home. They were surrendered to our rescue when their human could no longer properly care for them. We would really like to place them together, we feel they would be happiest if we can make that happen.
These two are like little peas in a pod! They like to hang out in the fresh air, being outside is one of their favorite activities. They are completely indifferent to cats & cat shenanigans. They lived with a female, so they are very comfortable with ladies. They are a little more cautious with men, you just have to give them a little bit of time to get used to you.
Their foster family has done a fantastic job of getting them settled & letting their personalities come through. Here is what their foster mom has told us:
"Housetraining has gone well. We have only had a handful of accidents. They sleep well in their playpen all night long. They are comfortable together.
They do not beg or bother us when we have food. They have good table manners. Harley has his own area to eat, and Bella has her own area so they can eat without intrusion.
A female friend came to visit and they were both sociable with her. They seem to be comfortable around strangers. Bella is a cuddler & Harley just wants to keep track of where you are."
Both are leashed trained, so a fence is not mandatory. But they really really enjoy playing in the yard, so our preference is to hopefully find a home with at least a small area for them to run free safely.
