🐾 Meet Hotch – 13-Year-Old Yorkie/Shih Tzu Mix 🐾
Hotch is a sweet senior boy who is settling into foster life and showing his gentle personality more each day.
❤️ Very loving and enjoys being close to his people
🐕 Has done well with other dogs indoors (may bark at some dogs on walks)
🚶 Enjoys walks and exploring the outdoors
🪟 Loves watching the world from the window
🚗 Great in the car and enjoys outings
Hotch is still adjusting and working through a few things. He can become anxious when left alone and does best in a home where someone is around often. He also may bark at passersby and is learning calmer window manners.
🍽️ Sometimes needs encouragement to eat (hand-feeding helps)
👁️ Does not produce tears and will require lifelong eye drops, which he handles very well
🧠 Not highly food-motivated, but responds well to patience and routine
Hotch is a gentle, loyal little companion who just wants to be near his people and feel secure. He would thrive in a calm, loving home where he can be a constant little shadow. ❤️🐾
