Pickles – Gentle, Affectionate, and Ready to Be Your Shadow

Pickles is a precious, gentle puppy with a heart full of sweetness. At around 20 pounds and still growing his loving personality is already shining through.

Pickles is extremely dogfriendly and lives with his brother Basil, a senior foster, and the resident senior dog. He and Basil are inseparable playmates — they’ll wrestle and romp for an hour or two before Pickles curls up for a cozy nap. He loves being near his people and has a soft, affectionate nature that makes him easy to adore.

He hasn’t started leash walks yet due to waiting on his second round of vaccinations. However, he is already crate trained, potty trained, and rides well in the car. He’s working on basic commands and name recognition and is picking things up quickly.

Pickles has not been cat tested and has not been around children yet. His temperament so far suggests he will be a gentle, loving companion as he continues to grow and gain confidence.

Ideal Home for Pickles

Pickles would thrive in a home with a fenced yard, as outdoor play is one of his favorite activities, but fenced yard is not required. He and Basil play for hours, and having space to run helps him burn off that wonderful puppy energy.

With continued training, Pickles would be a great fit for a firsttime Just Giants adopter. He doesn’t require an experienced giantbreed home — just someone committed to helping him grow into the big, wellmannered dog he’s destined to be.

Until the profile is removed from the public’s view, this dog is considered available for adoption. To apply to adopt from Just Giants Rescue fill out an online. All approved applications are good for 12 months. Meet and greets can be scheduled with approved adopters. All dogs adopted from Just Giants Rescue are up to date on vaccines (Rabies, DHPP, Bordetella), microchipped, and spayed or neutered. Some exceptions may apply. All adoption fees are non-refundable; Just Giants is a NFP 501(c)3 organization.


Meet and greets can be scheduled with approved adopters.
Transportation from the foster home to the adopter is the responsibility of the adopter to coordinate. Just Giants does not adopt outside of the continental US.
