Hi, Im Mochi! Im officially in my Glow-Up Era. I am a 4-year-old bulldog girlie with one brown eye and one blue. Combined with my "sad" expressions and baby T-Rex face, I am basically a walking work of art. In my previous life, I was used to having lots of babies. I didnt get the care or the snacks I deserved, and when I was surrendered to the shelter, I was skin and bones with a cherry eye, itchy skin, and bloody feet. Not a pretty picture, I know! But don't you worryI am loving my new life of luxury! My CEBR family is fixing me up so I can start my Glow-Up Era with a bang My foster mom says I was named Mochi for a reason. Just like the treat, I am soft, squishy, and incredibly sweetbut Im also a little "sticky!" Once I decide youre my person, Im stuck to you like glue. Whether you're moving from room to room or just sitting on the couch, Ill be right there, clinging to your side. In fact, Id prefer to be right in your lap so I am completely surrounded by your love. I do have limits, and that would start with the rain, absolutely not. I hate anything wet on my paws, especially wet grass, and will require a formal apology if you think I am going out in it. I will accept an umbrella over my entire body, but will still expect the apology and extra treats once we are back inside. I do all of my business outside like a good girl during the day, but I do have some accidents at night and were working on it. Something you should know about me is that I haven't quite mastered the art of playing with kids, or just playing in general. When I get excited, I go into "T-Rex Mode"I jump up and wag my tail with all my might! To me, thats a party, but I know it can be a bit much for little ones. Im working on learning what 'gentle' means (I don't love the rules, but Im trying!), so Id be best suited to a home without kids, while I learn how to manage my spicy play style. If you are ready to be part of my new beginning and glow with me, you should know that other dogs make me feel really anxious, so I need to be your one and only. Ive been through a lot, and Ive earned the right to a quiet, peaceful home where I dont have to worry about my "bubble" being invaded by other animals. I have been known to have a standoff with other dogs that walk by and stare at me. So no dog parks for this girlie pop. I, like many bullies, have cysts on my paws and allergies, which can make my paws really irritated and itchy. Im still learning to be brave about my "paws" being handled, so Im looking for a patient human who knows that being a Bulldog takes a little extra maintenance and a whole lot of love.
