Meet amara
I got Amara from the Collin County Animal Shelter when she was 1 years old. I’ve had Amara for over 3 years now, and I’ve known her to be a loving dog who needs a lot of exercise and stimulation. She would be a great dog for an active family, and has never had a negative interaction with a human before, even kids. She is friendly with other dogs, and has never fought at daycare or the dog park. However, Amara needs someone with experience, as she is somewhat stubborn and has issues that require training. She pulls on the leash and has leash/barrier reactivity as well. However, I believe that she would have less of these issues if she was with someone who could provide her with more fulfillment. I am deeply saddened by the idea of rehoming her, but I believe that there is someone out there who can make her more happy and provide more of what she needs.
