Meet Terry: Ready to Leap into Your Heart
Terry’s story didn’t start out easy. At just over a year old, this resilient Terrier mix came
to us with a broken pelvis. Thanks to a permanent plate and screws—and an
unstoppable spirit—Terry has healed beautifully. He still has a little “hop-skip” with his
hind leg on occasion, but he is getting stronger every single day, ready to leave his
painful past behind.

Because of what he’s been through, Terry can be a bit timid at first. He needs a little
patience and someone with a stellar snack game to earn his trust. Once you do, you’ll
unlock his absolute favorite thing in the world: endless ear scritches.

Canine Companions Required: Terry loves [most] other dogs! He integrated
wonderfully into his foster home but may need about 24 hours to warm up to new
friends. He must go to a home with at least one confident (and energetic) dog friend to
show him the ropes.

Strictly No Cats: Terry has a very firm “no felines allowed” policy.

Cozy & Courteous: He is house-trained, standing politely at the door when he needs to
go (and uses potty pads in a pinch). He enjoys the cozy vibes of his crate, though he
may speak up if you wander off. Above all, he loves to snuggle in bed under the
blankets if you let him.

Terry has spent months rebuilding his strength. Now, he just needs a family to give him
the happily ever after he so deeply deserves. Will you be his soft place to land?

Terry has been neutered is current on vaccines, has tested negative for heartworm and is microchipped.
