Meet pluto
Pluto came from a litter in Indiana and is currently 1 year and 8 months old.
We are looking for a calm, experienced, adult-only home that understands dog behavior and is willing to continue working with him patiently and consistently. Pluto would do best in a home where his boundaries are respected and introductions to new people are handled slowly. He has resource guarding behaviors with other dogs around food, toys, treats, and bones, so he would do best with careful management or as the only dog in the home. Ideally, he would thrive with someone experienced with behavioral dogs who can provide structure, routine, and a low-stress environment.
Pluto is intelligent, loyal, affectionate with trusted people, playful, observant, and protective. He can also be cautious and sensitive at times, especially with unfamiliar people or overstimulating situations. Once he builds trust, he bonds closely with his people and enjoys companionship on his own terms.
