  Cooper | 10 Months Old | 12 lbs  Meet Cooper, an adorable puppy who wakes up every day convinced that everyone he meets is his new best friend! Coop is a 'Teddy Bear', a 'designer breed' cross of Bichon Frise/Shih Tzu. Cooper is housebroken, crate trained, loves children, and so far, has never met a stranger. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and would love a forever home with a playful canine companion who can match his energy level. Like many unneutered males, Cooper developed a marking habit before coming to rescue. He has now been neutered, and we expect that behavior to resolve completely. He has otherwise shown excellent house manners in foster care. His ideal home is active, has a fenced yard, and includes another young dog for companionship and play. He is not a good fit for a sedentary household, senior-only home, or apartment living. If you're looking for a friendly, affectionate little sidekick who loves people, dogs, cuddles, and adventure, Cooper may be your perfect match. Note: When Cooper arrived, his beautiful fluffly coat was severely matted, so he received a short summer haircut. While he looks adorable fluffy OR short, his future family should be prepared for regular grooming every 6 weeks to keep him comfortable and healthy. If you have a groomer reference, please include it with your application. Cooper's adoption fee is $450 which includes neuter, up-to-date vaccines, and current flea, tick, and heartworm prevention.
