Chewie may have had a hard-knock life, but this resilient boy hasn't let it dim his spirit. He's an absolute dream on leash, happily walking at your pace and calmly passing other dogs with ease. Don't let his age fool you-Chewie still has plenty of pep, and his adorable prancing gait looks like smooth little dance moves that will make anyone smile. Sweet, gentle, and full of charm, Chewie is ready to spend his golden years soaking up love, comfort, companionship, and adventures.In playgroups, he showed off those senior citizen moves by dancing around his play partner in an effort to win her over to play. Congenial, charming, and undeniably cute, Chewie is ready to spend his golden years enjoying love, companionship, comfort, and a few happy adventures along the way.During an outing with a volunteer, it was noted that he behaved very well in the car - stayed in the back seat. He knows how to fetch and retrieve. He loved to relax in the sun and even investigated the pool in the backyard - dipping a couple of toes in. He is already neutered and up to date on vaccinations, flea/tick and heartworm prevention, is microchipped and ready to go home. If you have cats, we recommend slow introductions over time.
