Meet doug
Doug is a 10 y.o. short legged pit bull mix (with the cutest waddle) looking for a loving, experienced forever home. Doug loves people (and being loved by people), enjoys short walks and is great on a leash, ADORES his crate, and loves an early bed time.
This decision to rehome Doug has been heartbreaking for our family. Doug is a wonderful dog who loves people so thoroughly it is impossible not to love him back. Our only goal is finding the right home—one where Doug can enjoy his golden years feeling safe, understood, and deeply loved.
We are looking for an experienced dog owner that can offer Doug a stable, predictable environment where there are no other pets or young kids. Doug has some chronic medical issues that require attention and financial resources. He also can become overwhelmed and reactive, but thrives with people who understand how to help dogs decompress rather than forcing situations.
