You get a 5 day trial with me in your home. Put in your application soon!***    Updated: 5/31/26 Dog Name: Gemma Sex: Female Estimated Breed: Pomeranian/ Chihuahua Mix Date of Birth: 12/17/2025  Approximate Weight: 2 lbs Spay/Neuter Status: Not yet Description: These resilient pups recently came to us from a heartbreaking hoarding situation, where they didn't experience much of the comfort and care that every dog deserves. Now, they're ready to discover what it means to be a cherished family member and have the focus all on them! They are looking for patient, loving homes that understand it might take a little time and patience for them to adjust to their new way of life. For the first time many of these dogs are experiencing safety, the space to run around (including the outdoors), and unconditional love! With your understanding and affection, these sweet dogs are sure to blossom and become the most loyal companions!    Gemma is a sweet and gentle girl who's waiting to find her forever home! Gemma can be shy at first and prefers slow introductions. Gemma is a little anxious around quick movements but does well with young kids! We can’t wait for her to start to feel comfortable and see her unique personality. She enjoys quiet explorations of her foster home and will happily come out for gentle pets and snuggle time. Gemma truly is a lap dog at heart, wanting nothing more than to curl up in a warm lap and feel safe. She's also a big fan of the outdoors and enjoys romping around in the grass!Gemma is doing wonderfully with her potty training, showing great progress with using potty pads and learning what it’s like to be outside! With a little patience and understanding, Gemma will thank you for saving her you with endless affection! She's a little gem who adores people and wants a loving family of her own!   Adoption Fee: $650We are a Wisconsin state licensed dog rescue -WI# 402433   ***We do not have a central adoption center at this time. All our dogs are in private foster homes within WI. At this time, we only place our dogs in areas of WI. The breed of our dogs is our best guess with the help of our veterinarians. Our Weight Classes are as follows: 0- 25lbs - Small 26- 45lbs - Medium 46-89 - Large 90+ X-large If you are adopting an adult dog, which we consider 6 months of age or older, your adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper shots, dewormed, flea & tick preventative, heartworm tested and microchipped. If you are adopting a dog younger than 6 months of age, the dog will be up to date on the shots as per the dogs age. The dog will be dewormed, flea/tick preventative and microchipped. We only spay/neuter our dogs once they're at least 6 months old. If you decide to adopt a younger dog than 6 months, they will need to be spayed/neutered by your veterinarian when they are between 6 to 8 months old. Proof that the spay/neuter has been completed will need to be submitted to Tailwaggers911. Once proof of the spay/neuter has been received, we will refund $100 of your adoption fee via Venmo, PayPal or have a check in the mail within 15 days. Once you are approved with our rescue, you can meet any one of our dogs within the fosters home. If you are interested in the dog you met, you can take the dog home under our mandatory foster to adopt program. You receive 5 days to see if the dog is the right fit for your home. If it is, we will conduct the home visit and finalize adoption. If it is not, it is returned to the foster. We are happy to find you another dog that meets your needs in your home. If a dog is listed as ADOPTION IN PROCESS, a family has met the dog and planning on adopting the dog after the home visit has been conducted. We always suggest sending in an application for a dog because there are times where the dogs are given back to us under the foster to adopt program. There are many reasons dogs are returned but normally it just was not the right fit for all. Please go to WWW.TAILWAGGERS911.COM under HOW TO ADOPT . We have an online application that is very easy to fill out. June 2, 2026, 12:14 am
