- Loves stuffies and is a champ at tug- Active dog who is ready to accompany you on all your adventures; looking for a family who loves being active just like him- Recently went on multiple Dog's Day Out field trips recently, and his human companions all said he did great with their kids, even the little ones! Here's what one family said: "He's very gentle and understands he has some strength. He wasn't bothered with the kids fussing over him and gave them patience. He definitely believes he is a lap dog and will push his way into it! The kids absolutely loved him and his cuddles. He's such a good boy." - Takes treats gently and is focused on learning - Loves going on walks and does best with a harness- Tends to be a linebacker-type player with other dogs, which some dogs may not appreciate; will likely do best with a select group of rough-and-tumble dog friends with a similar play style (dog intro recommended) All adoptable dogs and puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and DA2PPV as appropriate for their age)The ARL's shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label.
