Meet mario
Meet Mario!
This sweet little 10 month old boy was born in the dirt under a car in South Texas. A good citizen found them and took them in, finding homes for all but Mario and his sister, Peach. To keep them safe, she did the best she could, which was to confine them to a tiny, dark, outdoor kennel for the majority of their lives to keep them from getting hit by cars. She desperately sought rescue for months, and at 10 months old we came across her plea for help. We offered to take them in and show them the kinder side of life. He is learning what life is like in a home. He's friendly and does well with other dogs, he's very playful. Mario is curious and a little shy at first, but warms up within a minute. He's very eager for love and attention. They are both about 40lbs and are excited to have a family of their own!
