New people and unfamiliar situations can be scary for him, so he's searching for a patient, dog-experienced family that understands fearful dogs and is willing to let him settle in at his own pace.

Having a friendly, confident canine companion by his side helps him feel safe, gives him reassurance, and brings out his playful personality. Because of this, Costello must go to a home with another dog that can help show him the ropes and continue building his confidence. He absolutely loves running, wrestling, and playing with his dog friends.
Costello is looking for a quiet home in a peaceful neighborhood with a securely fenced yard where he can safely explore and play while he continues learning about the world. He's still gaining confidence on leash walks, so a fenced yard is essential for him. He would not be a good fit for apartment living, busy neighborhoods, or homes with frequent visitors, as too much activity can be overwhelming for him.
