Meet gunner
Hi all! Our son was given this sweet dog about a month ago. His name is Gunner and he is about 5 years old. He is a 32 pound mini Aussie and is super smart, very affectionate, and adorable. There was no other history given on him so we’ve taken him to the vet and he is healthy and we updated his shots.
We have found out that Gunner has separation anxiety and gets really sad when left alone. He whines and barks a little when you leave and gets so happy when you come home and will tell you all about his day! He is potty trained and good with commands and will come when you call him.
He’s good with other dogs and people. He is not destructive although he does like to open the kitchen trash and knock it over when you’re gone. But we’ve been able to baby proof our trash cans so he hasn’t been able to get into them.
We considered keeping him, but his anxiety is hard on Björn, and we don’t want to cause stress on either pup.
