Meet Georgia! Georgia is approximately 3 1/2 years old and is thought to be a Hound mix.Georgia came to us as a transfer from another rescue who pulled her from an overcrowded shelter. She just recently arrived, so we're still learning about her every day.So far, Georgia is such a love! She excitedly greets new people and is very friendly and affectionate. We're told she's great with kids, strangers & other dogs, but may not be recommended to live with kitties. She is crate trained and does well in her kennel, but especially because of all of her recent changes, Georgia's new family should expect to be patient and help her learn the new potty routine.Georgia should do well in almost any loving & involved family! She'd like love a daily walk, or even a hike through the woods so she can use that hound nose to the best of its ability! She will benefit from continued training, as that will also help to strengthen her bond with you. She seems to be a girl who would love adventures, but doesn't necessarily need to 'run a marathon'.If you're someone who loves and appreciates the goofiness and quirkiness of hounds, Georgia would love to meet you!
