Adopted from The Animal Foundation after a year’s discussion to adopt a second dog to be a companion for our German Shepherd. Initially wanting a female but found Robby and fell in love with his seemingly calm and attentive behavior during the meet-n-greet. He is very trainable and smart, but we have come to realize with two other pets, children, and two working adults the energy and time to give him are more than what we can provide. Robby has been through basic training but has the potential for so much more and needs a true job, which is what we struggle with for him. We live in an area with plenty of walking trails and near canyon hiking trails but he is reactive to other dogs on-leash and would benefit from an experienced trainer with good-sized property and a working job for him. His energy at times is overwhelming for us as first time Malinois parents and it affects our children in the home. We hope to rehome him to an experienced and loving home.
