Meet duke
My name is Duke.
I’m 8 years old, and while life hasn’t always been a belly-rub buffet, I’ve decided the best way forward is to be a very good boy with a slightly goofy streak.
I’m basically a big silly boy in a dog suit. I’m crate trained during the day, polite in the house, and at night I’d very much prefer to snooze somewhere nearby so I can keep an eye on my favorite humans (strictly for quality control, obviously).
I’m great with other dogs and know how to keep things chill. I’m into the classics: gentle playtime, leisurely walks, and car rides that will earn you some very enthusiastic talking–don’t worry, I’m not growling, I’m just a bass!
When I realize we’re going somewhere fun I might start our walk like I’m late for an important parade, but give me a minute and I’m happily trotting along like your slightly oversized sidekick.
I’m sweet, loyal, and just the right amount of clingy. When you leave, I’ll wait patiently like the noble loaf I am. When you come home, I’ll greet you like you’ve just returned from battle and I have been worried sick.
Because food used to be a little uncertain for me, I’m always a bit hungry and prefer to eat my meals separately while I work on filling out this handsome frame. After that? I’ll go back to focusing full-time on my hobbies: loving you, supervising snacks, and being nearby.
I’m not a wild puppy tornado. I’m the upgrade: house manners, soft eyes, a gentle heart, and occasional goofball energy.
