Meet otis

Some dogs are special the moment you meet them.
Otis is one of those dogs.
When Otis arrived at the shelter, he was so severely emaciated that he was immediately placed on the euthanasia list unless a rescue stepped in. You could see every rib, every vertebra, every bone in his tiny body. He was starving.
But despite everything he had clearly been through⌠Otis was still kind.
Still loving.
Still trusting.
Still happy to be around people.
Within his very first week in rescue care, Otis gained nearly 30% of his body weight on his carefully managed refeeding plan, and he has continued getting stronger every single day. His bloodwork looked remarkably good considering the condition he came in, and now this sweet boy is finally becoming the healthy, happy dog he was always meant to be. đž
And honestly? Everyone who meets Otis falls in love with him.
There are multiple volunteers already joking about âfoster failingâ because he is just THAT wonderful.

⨠Afraid of cats (so respectful cat roommates are okay!)
