Meet piper
We rescued Piper from a household that she was not being friendly with their other dogs in. She is such an incredible dog, but does not do well with dogs that seem intimidating to her. She gets along with our small chihuahua, but has constantly fought our large, sweet English shepherd.
She has very high arousal, where we got her started on fluoxetine and gabapentin, after stopping trazodone. She needs a family without any other pets. She’s a very quick learner, and warms up to people after some treats. She is a very active, energetic companion. She does well in the car and loves walks. I was told she’s very good off leash, but have not attempted due to being near a busy road.
I have been trying to train her to get along with our other dog since they started fighting, with no improvement. It is now putting myself and other dog at risk for injury. I need someone dedicated to giving her all the time she needs.
