Meet otto
Otto is a 3-year-old Pomeranian we have had since puppyhood. He is very affectionate, loves cuddling, and bonds deeply with his people in calm, predictable environments.Over the past 2 years, Otto has struggled with significant anxiety and reactivity despite professional training, behavioral medication, and extensive management. He has a bite history involving both adults and children in the home, initially around food/resource guarding and more recently in situations involving resting, handling, startle responses, and overstimulation. Most bites have caused bruising or marks rather than severe injury, but his triggers have become less predictable over time.Otto needs an adult-only home with experienced owners who understand anxious/reactive dogs and can provide a calm, structured, low-stimulation environment where he can feel safe and secure.
