Rainier is a bit nervous when he's outside exposed to the big, loud world, but once he knows he’s safe with you? He melts. His foster mom sat with him in his kennel for a grooming session, and Rainier officially gave it a 10/10 review. He was so incredibly happy to be brushed that he couldn't stop showing his affection; nibbling gently on her nose and her hat, just being the absolute funniest, sweetest little thing.

While the big outdoors might intimidate him a bit, put him around another playful dog and his confidence skyrockets! Rainier absolutely shines around other pups.
His Play Style: Bouncy, silly, and full of play bows! He loves a good game of body slams, and rolling around with a canine friend.
The Social Butterfly: He’s a vocal boy who will give little yelps to say, "Hey, don't stop, let's keep playing!"
Great Manners: Even though he's still learning his initial sniffing manners, he is incredibly respectful. When his play partner wants a break, Rainier takes the hint and happily gives them space.
Note: Rainier would really shine in a home with a confident dog friend in his future home! Having a canine buddy helps him realize the world isn't so scary after all.

You might notice from his photos that Rainier has a condition called "double cherry eye," which is likely affecting his vision right now. But don't worry! help is on the way! He is currently looking for a medical foster, so that he can get the surgery he needs to fix his eyes allowing him to once again see the world clearly. He’s taking it all in stride like the brave boy he is.
