Meet gunner - big ears big heart
Meet Gunner, a 5-month-old, 22-lb sweetheart with the gentlest heart.
Gunner was dumped at a construction site in Puerto Rico, surrounded by loud, scary machines and chaos. Terrified, he hid inside a storage container just trying to stay safe. Thankfully, rescuers found him before something terrible happened.
Because of his rough start, Gunner can be a little shy at first — but it is more of a docile tentativeness as he is still incredibly loving and affectionate. He absolutely loves to snuggle and melts into you when give him belly rubs. Underneath his timid side is a soft, sweet puppy who just wants comfort, kindness, and someone to trust.
Gunner also has a tiny little club foot, but vets say it is completely fine and purely cosmetic — it doesn’t slow him down one bit and there is nothing medically wrong with him. If anything, it just makes him look like he’s salsa dancing when he walks, which honestly makes him even more adorable.
Now Gunner is ready for a forever home where he can continue building confidence, soaking up love, and finally experience the safe, happy puppyhood he always deserved.
