Jenny is the kind of dog who quietly steals your heart. At around 3 years old, this sweet girl has a gentle, social nature and clearly longs for the comfort and stability of a real home. While the shelter can be an overwhelming place — especially with all the loud barking dogs around her — Jenny continues to greet people with a soft wagging tail, kind eyes, and a hopeful heart.She’s easy to leash, enjoys spending time with people, and truly seems happiest simply being close to her human friends. During her evaluation, Jenny showed more interest in interacting with her handler than in toys or treats, soaking up attention and companionship whenever she could. She’s affectionate, calm with strangers, and has a playful side that will likely shine even brighter once she feels safe and settled in a loving home.Jenny has also shown polite, relaxed behavior with other dogs, though she can be a little nervous around louder or more excitable dogs in the shelter environment. It’s easy to imagine Jenny curled up beside her person after a long day, finally able to relax knowing she’s safe, loved, and home for good.
