Meet lox
Meet Lox!
Lox was picked up as a stray with his sister after being dumped in a Flint park. He ran right up to his foster for pets and has been making friends ever since. He is about 50 lbs and needs to put on some weight. His doctor and foster believe he is about a year and a half old. Per his Embark DNA test, he is 100% German Shepherd.
Lox is a very sweet boy who loves to goof around. He loves running in the yard but he will find his human and flop at their feet for belly rubs every chance he gets. He settles well in his crate and travels very well in a car crate.
Lox has visited several parks with children biking, riding scooters, and playing. He has not reacted to them at any point. He would benefit from a puppy class as he needs to work a bit on his manners. He is still learning to walk politely on leash and can be jumpy when nervous. Still, what he lacks in polite behavior Lox makes up for with affection.
Lox has been introduced to other dogs in his foster home and does well. He takes corrections from older dogs well and gives them their space when needed. He does show a bit of prey drive with his foster's cats but could likely adjust to living with them successfully after a bit of training. He is a very good boy!
Lox is currently in a foster home and is available for scheduled meet and greets. Lox is neutered and up to date on his vaccines. He is microchipped. His adoption fee is $400.
