There are dogs who make an impression the moment you meet them.

Then there are dogs like **Pippa**—the kind who quietly steals your heart forever.

Pippa's world changed when the person she loved passed away. During her owner's final year, despite all the love in the world, they simply couldn't provide the care Pippa needed. She arrived in rescue carrying more than just heartbreak.

Her beautiful coat had become so painfully matted that it took two people working for four hours to gently shave away five pounds of tangled fur.

And through every minute of it...

Not one growl.

Not one snap.

Not even a curled lip.

She simply trusted.

That is who Pippa is.

Despite everything she's been through, her foster family can't say enough wonderful things about her. She is calm, gentle, incredibly patient, and one of the easiest dogs you'll ever meet. She adores attention, quietly follows you from room to room, and is happiest simply being near her people.

Pippa gets along beautifully with dogs, cats, and children. She's house-trained, knows basic commands like "Sit," and even enjoyed scent work training when she was younger. She still loves using that clever nose!

Because she didn't receive enough exercise over the past year, Pippa experienced significant muscle loss. But here's the wonderful news—thanks to loving foster care, she's made an incredible recovery. Today she's stronger, happier, and enjoying life again. She is really enjoying playing with other dogs, romping around the yard.

Pippa does have one special need. She is incontinent, so she is on Proin which is working wonderfully, so she does not have to wear a diaper.

Pippa doesn't dwell on the past. She doesn't know she's considered a "special needs" dog.

She only knows that every morning is another chance to wag her tail, soak up affection, and love with her whole heart.

Now all she needs is someone willing to love her back.

The family lucky enough to adopt Pippa won't just be saving a dog—they'll be welcoming one of the sweetest, most forgiving, most grateful souls imaginable.

Pippa has already proven how resilient she is.
