Meet Annabelle

Annabelle is a darling senior lady (around 9 years young) with a gentle soul and a heart full of love to give. This sweet, quiet girl is currently working on her potty training and crate training.

Annabelle gets along well with other dogs and has a calm, easygoing personality. Her favorite things in life are simple—snuggling on the couch, relaxing by your side, leisurely walks, and spending time in a securely fenced yard soaking up the fresh air.

Having come to rescue as a stray, Annabelle is still receiving care for some medical issues as we help her feel her very best. Because of this, she will thrive in a calm, quiet home where she can continue to heal and enjoy the comfort and stability she deserves. Loud noises, sudden movements, and busy environments can make her uncomfortable, so she's looking for a family that appreciates a slower pace of life.

Annabelle may need a little extra care and patience, but she will repay that kindness with endless love, quiet companionship, and gratitude. If you're looking for a loyal friend to share peaceful days, cozy evenings, and gentle walks, Annabelle just might be your perfect match.

 

Due to our participation in the Vernon Hills 4th of July Parade, there will be no adoption event on Saturday, July 4, 2026.

Instead, come visit us the following weekend at Libertyville Dog Days of Summer on July 11 & 12! Stop by to have some fun, meet our amazing adoptable pets, and say hello to the Reach Rescue team.
