Cookie is the kind of dog who makes people stop mid-sentence just to say, “Oh my gosh, look at her.” With her squishy little face and irresistible charm, she turns heads everywhere she goes. But it’s her gentle, loving personality that truly makes her special.

Cookie is incredibly sweet, affectionate, and people-oriented. She loves being close, soaking up attention, and giving it right back. She is both potty trained and pee pad trained, making her an easy addition to a home that’s ready to welcome her.

Right now, Cookie is on a medical journey. She has already undergone surgery on one ear and will need one more procedure before she can head to her forever home. This surgery, called a total ear canal ablation and bulla osteotomy, is being done to relieve long-term pain and discomfort likely caused by untreated ear infections in the past. After her second surgery, Cookie will be deaf or partially deaf, but that doesn’t change who she is. Dogs like Cookie adapt beautifully, relying on love, routine, and connection to thrive.

Because of this, Cookie is looking for a patient and committed adopter who understands her needs and is willing to wait until she’s fully healed. In return, she promises a lifetime of loyalty, affection, and companionship.

Cookie has been through a lot, but you’d never know it from the way she leans into you for love. She’s ready for a fresh start, one filled with comfort, safety, and someone who sees just how special she truly is!
