Cookie has undergone surgery in both of her ears to treat and relieve long-term pain and discomfort she suffered from. It was likely caused by untreated ear infections in the past. Because of this, Cookie is now deaf. However, that doesn’t change who she is or what she is capable of. Dogs like Cookie adapt beautifully, relying on love, routine, and connection.
