Meet Scooter! 🐾
Scooter spent his first years as a breeding dog. Today, he is fully vetted, safe, and searching for a permanent lap to call home.
📌 Quick FactsBreed/Size: Scooter is a black and white shitzu. 14 lbs of pure sweetness.
Age: Original paperwork states 6 years old, but our vet estimates 8–10 years old.
💖 Health & Medical Needs: Scooter has a Grade IV heart murmur and mitral valve enlargement. He is not in congestive heart failure.
Daily Care: He requires two lifelong daily medications: Enalapril and Vetmedin.
Good News: He does not require Lasix (diuretics) right now.
Future Care: We recommend veterinary checkups every 6 months to monitor his heart.
