MEET NENE!Nene (pronounced Nay-Nay) is a bundle of happiness and joy! Since he arrived on our doorstep he has been greeting people with excitement and love! In his previous home, Nene spent 5 years living with adults, children and other dogs. They described him as fun and playful. When people would come over, he would bark like crazy but once the guests were invited in, he settled and enjoyed their company. He`s learning some new cues like sit and laydown and is enjoying all the food treats we offer him when out on walks. Nene barks at other dogs when he sees them outside so we are working hard to help him greet other dogs politely. His new owners will need to continue with this training. He`s a quick learner so with practice he`ll learn that being calm and focusing on his handler pays well! Overall we`ve learned that Nene is a sweet, snuggly, loving little guy looking for his next adventure. Does he sound like the dog for you? If so, come visit him at our Dedham location! He won`t disappoint!My friends describe me as: Adventerous, vocal and snugglyNene is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been spayed/neutered, microchipped and seen by our vet team.For more information on this or any other animal currently residing at the Animal Rescue League of Boston please visit us during our adoption center hours: Wednesdays-Sundays from 1:00PM – 6:00PM, Tuesdays by appointment only from 1:00PM – 6:00PM, closed Mondays & Holidays. We welcome adopters from NH, RI, CT, and NY however, we are unable to facilitate same day adoptions due to state regulated paperwork requirements.
