Ada is a 9 year old, 55 lb beautiful Sato with a soft coat, soulful eyes, and the sweetest disposition. A Sato is a Puerto Rican street dog, and Ada’s story is one that is both heartbreaking and unforgettable.
Ada and her son were abandoned on the side of a road in Puerto Rico. But instead of leaving, they stayed there for weeks waiting for their owner to come back for them. Day after day, they waited faithfully by the roadside, not understanding they had been left behind.
Despite everything she has been through, Ada remains incredibly affectionate and kind. She does well with dogs and kids and has a calm, loving personality that makes people fall in love with her quickly. She is crate, leash, and potty trained and has adjusted beautifully to life in a home.
Ada would do best in a home without cats, but otherwise she is ready to be someone’s loyal best friend. After surviving abandonment and heartbreak, this sweet girl deserves a forever home where she can get all the cuddles!
