Meet lola d

Meet Lola Female DOB: May 15, 2023 Weight: 45 lbs Breed: Pit Bull / Hound Mix Spayed (Fixed) Vaccinated Microchipped Healthy & Adoption-Ready Personality, Breed Info & Expectations Lola is the kind of dog who makes people smile instantly. She is goofy, affectionate, and absolutely loves being around her humans. Whether she’s happily trotting beside you, soaking up attention, or leaning in for affection, Lola has a warm and loving personality that makes her easy to adore. At her young age, she still has playful energy and enjoys staying active, but she also knows how to relax and enjoy simply being near her people. She thrives on companionship and would love a family who sees their dog as part of everyday life. As a Pit Bull / Hound mix, Lola may show traits such as loyalty, athleticism, intelligence, and strong emotional connection to her family. Pit Bull-type dogs are often incredibly affectionate and people-oriented, while Hound breeds can bring curiosity, scent-driven instincts, and playful energy. Because of her breed tendencies and natural prey-drive instincts, Lola does not do well with cats and would do best in a cat-free home. This is not because she is aggressive or a bad dog—some dogs are simply genetically more inclined to focus on smaller animals. Lola would thrive in a loving home that can provide: Daily exercise and playtime Companionship and interaction Structure and routine Inclusion as part of the family She has a big heart, a fun personality, and so much love to give. Training, Adjustment & What to Expect Many rescue dogs come from very different backgrounds. Some may have previously lived in homes, while others may have come from the streets, overcrowded shelters, neglect situations, or environments where they had little structure or guidance. Because of this, most rescue dogs arrive with only basic training at best, and some may have had no formal training at all. Even dogs who appear well-behaved in foster care or at the rescue are still adjusting and learning. The rescue environment itself also does not always allow for extensive one-on-one training. While we work hard to provide safety, structure, socialization, and basic guidance, adopters should be prepared to continue training and support after adoption. Lola will benefit from: Positive reinforcement training Structure and routine Daily exercise and engagement Patience and consistency during adjustment Continued socialization and guidance Please remember the 3-3-3 Rule: 3 days to decompress 3 weeks to learn your routine 3 months to fully feel at home With time, patience, and commitment, rescue dogs often blossom into incredibly loyal companions. Owner Responsibilities & Veterinary Care Owning a dog is a lifelong commitment that includes daily exercise, companionship, routine veterinary care, training, mental stimulation, and financial responsibility. Lola will need: Daily walks, exercise, and interaction Continued training and guidance Routine wellness exams and preventative veterinary care A safe, stable, indoor living environment Consistent veterinary care, proper nutrition, preventative care, and emotional stability are all essential to helping her live a healthy and happy life. Lola is an indoor family dog and is not to be chained or left outside.
