Buster is a 1.5-year-old neutered male terrier mix who is housetrained, up to date on shots, and knows his basic commands. He's a calm, cuddly homebody who loves walks and will match your energy outside. Great watchdog, never chews anything but his toys, and respects furniture unless invited up.He does best as the only pet - he's food aggressive with other dogs. He's great with kids but we recommend supervision around mealtimes just to be safe. He needs an adopter with some dog experience, ideally someone familiar with resource guarding.Our travel schedules have made it impossible to give him the structure he deserves, which is the only reason he's up for adoption.Adoption includes his bed, crate, toys, about 6 months of Simparica Trio (heartworm, tick, and flea prevention) worth close to $200 on its own, and a $150 weight vest he loves to wear on walks. We want him to land with someone who will make him their adventure buddy and give him the time he deserves.
