This 10-month-old, 48-pound lab/shepherd mix is as endearing as can be!
Chiquita recently enjoyed a nice straycation and we are so excited to share what we've learned about this amazing girl! House-trained and crate-trained, Chiquita does not disappoint! She has spent time with other pups, cats and kids and did great with all of them. She even spent the weekend hanging out in a blanket fort with the family!
Chiquita tends to be a little timid to start, but once she knows you this girl just can't get enough of your love! Chiquita is very affectionate and will never turn down a belly rub. She gives the most gentle kisses and savors every snuggle. Chiquita forms a strong bond with her people and will look to them for reassurance.
Looking for a pal to enjoy the outdoors with? Chiquita is always up for a game of fetch and it's so much fun to watch her enjoy herself. She is also good on leash and rides well in the car too. This girl is ready to hit the road with you! Chiquita enjoys rope and stuffy toys and seems to prefer soft treats which she takes gently. Her foster family was able to take both toys and food away with no issue.
With continued structure and consistency, she will make the most amazing addition to your family. Chiquita will thrive in a home with daily exercise, continued training and a yard to enjoy. She already knows sit and is capable of learning more. Chiquita would de best in a home where she can be part of the daily activities. At the end of a snuggle-filled day, Chiquita prefers to sleep through the night in the same room as her family.
Based on our evaluation, we feel Chiquita would do best in an active home with adults or families with kids ages eight and up. She may have the capacity to live in a home with other animals ash she has done so before. We are happy to do a meet and greet with your family fur baby.
