Howdy! I am Avery, an active and intelligent boy looking for someone who's on my level.In my previous home I did great with house training - went out to the 6-foot fenced in yard on a regular schedule and had no accidents in the house. I also did very well with young kids, but I have a lot of energy, so please make sure to bring all the tiny humans in to meet me and make sure they enjoy my joyful personality.Because I am almost too smart for my own good, I will find any weaknesses in your fence and go for a joy run if I'm able! I have done well with crate training in the house. I'm scared when it storms and just want to be near people when I hear that thunder.I am not the best fit for a home with chickens (a tasty chicken nugget is just too tempting!), and I am also very wary of cats. They totally freak me out. I do love going to the dog park and playing with fellow canines! I will play chase, wrestling, or whatever the other dog likes to do.Overall I'm looking for a family who wants to have fun and maybe a dog friend to play with! I'm ready to be a loyal companion to share life's journey.
