Meet venus
Venus is a highly intelligent, energetic, and affectionate dog who would thrive with a pet parent that can accommodate her activity level and provide continued structure and stimulation.
* Takes time to warm up to strangers
* Skittish but curious around men
* High energy, agile, enjoys running, chewing, and interactive play
* Can pace when anxious
* Takes time to warm up to other dogs but has been attending doggy daycare weekly for the past two years and does well
* Displays leash reactivity, particularly if another dog lunges at her; manageable with awareness and distance
* Knows commands: sit, stay, leave it, paw, quiet, turn around, up/down, and through
* Crate trained (currently only allowed a blanket due to suspected Malinois mix tendencies)
* Alerts when she needs to go outside by whining or pawing at the door
* Can become destructive with hard objects (toys, tennis balls) when bored, but does not chew furniture or clothing
* May whine in crate if she knows I am home
