Meet banjo
Have you ever wanted to cuddle a pony? Meet BANJO
Well, Banjo is as close as it gets. At 123lbs, he has nothing but giant snuggles to give. Banjo is 3/4 Great Dane and 1/4 Great Pyrenees, and 100% wonderful.
If you are familiar with a giant breed, he has all of the attributes, including the slobber. Good with cats, dogs, and grown-ups but nervous around tiny humans who don’t yet understand dog boundaries. He lived with children prior to coming to the US Dog Coalition and Rescue and would do great with children out of the toddler stage. He walks like a dream on a leash and is a very good boy in the car. He’s happiest with his people and gets a little anxious in his kennel when left alone, but he is working hard on that and is making great strides with the help of our trainer. He’s working on getting more confident and would do well with someone who understands his giant-baby needs, but will make someone the very best friend.
