PLEASE NOTE: This dog is currently out of state but will be transported to Massachusetts shortly with no additional travel costs. Roughly 90% of our dogs are adopted prior to their transport up to MA and 10% are adopted locally.Meet Cooper! Cooper is approximately 8 years old, 24 lb currently, and he may have some Dachshund in his mix! In his foster home, he is working hard on his house training, crate-training, and leash walking. He could join households with kids 10+, cats and other dogs.His foster says, `Cooper came into rescue in hopes that he would find a new, loving home. He has adjusted nicely to foster life and doggy daycare. He is social and fun. Sometimes he is a little opinionated and may not want to share his special bed or crate with another pup. I think we have desensitized that trait out of him and he sleeps with friends now. Out on the play yard, he has fun wrestling with his friends. He likes both bigger dogs and little ones. He did fine with cats too. Cooper has finally lost enough weight to help ensure he has a longer, healthier life. We are proud of his progress. He is crate trained, potty trained, walks well on a leash, is neutered, and up to date on immunizations and heartworm prevention..`He is available for adoption in N Dartmouth on May 22nd.
