Meet louis
Louis is such a good boy! He is 4 1/2 years old and came to us as a rescue.
His Origin story is a bit extensive, and I’m happy to share it, but it won’t fit here!
We have 3 kids who he is fabulous with. He loves them.
Some of the issues are that he gets excited and will jump around, knocking the baby over. Or pawing to play and get near her face. With plans for more kids, I don’t want him to spend his life mostly in a crate to keep my babies safe, my biggest concern here. That seems unfair to him.
We also have military orders to move overseas, and while we would take him with us if we could figure out the behavior, he would not be allowed to go with us on the initial move and would need to wait up to 8 months to join us. This seems cruel for a dog who needs people.
I think he would do well with older children and likely a dog friend to play with. Possibly a lot of land to run around on. He needs attention that he is currently not getting and it has shown in behavior.
