HOW TO ADOPT: This animal is available for adoption by appointment. To schedule a time to meet this animal, please email meetme@arl-iowa.org.---- Energetic and loves to play - Has been working on potty training and leash walking in his foster home - Loves to have his head scratched - Will come to you for love when you call him - Has done well with cats and other dogs in his foster home - Tested heartworm positive when he arrived and has received both rounds of treatments here at the ARL; will need a free recheck at the ARL in a few months to make sure he's in the clear and will need to be kept fairly calm until that time (more info at ARL) All adoptable dogs and puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and DA2PPV as appropriate for their age)The ARL's shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label. Primary Color: Tan Weight: 27.5 Age: 1yrs 3mths 0wks
