Meet opal
Opal is a 6-year-old Boykin spaniel. We’ve had her since she was 3. She has been spayed.
Opal absolutely loves the water—if there’s a pond, lake, she’s all in. She also does great with a kennel and actually finds comfort in having that as her own safe space.She has been wonderful with our children and is very bonded to “her kids.” Because of that strong protective instinct, Opal would do best in a home that understands and respects her boundaries. She can be reactive and has shown aggression toward unfamiliar adults and children, especially when she feels like she needs to protect her family.Opal is sensitive to loud noises and does not do well around things like guns (even toy guns) or chaotic environments. A quieter home with a consistent routine would help her feel secure.
