We’re moving overseas for six months and can’t take our 1‑year‑old purebred Australian Cobberdog with us. Cobberdogs are bred as therapy dogs; they love water, are hypoallergenic, and do not shed. Our hope is to bring her back when we return, but if she bonds deeply with your family and is clearly happy, we’re open to you adopting her permanently. She is sweet, gentle, very affectionate, and happiest when close to her people. We want a home that will treat her as a true family member, not just a pet. She’s fully house‑trained, well‑mannered, and sleeps in our bed, so you must be comfortable with a cuddly dog. She eats fresh and high‑quality dry food, needs daily exercise and mental stimulation, and loves walks, playtime, and being involved in everyday life. We’ll carefully vet adopters and can drive her interstate for the right home.
