At a youthful 10+ years young, Lucille is the perfect mix of an independent lady and an absolute goofball. Wonderfully sweet, truly silly, and with so much life left to live, she will make the perfect addition to almost any home. If you are looking for an easy transition, Lucille is your girl. She is the ultimate model houseguest: fully potty trained and completely trusted to hang out alone in the house without any mischief. She also rides like an absolute dream in the car and loves nothing more than joining you for shopping excursions to pet-friendly businesses. She is also dog-friendly and happily coexists with other pups, though she does prefer polite canine friends who respect her space and won't jump all over her. She absolutely adores her beagle mix foster sibling! 

 

Lucille is a wonderfully low-maintenance companion whose daily requirements are simple. She has a deep passion for playing with toys. Don’t have time to throw the ball? No worries at all! Lucille is a self-entertaining queen and will happily keep herself amused, sporting a giant, happy grin the entire time. She doesn't require a ton of exercise to wear her out, but she is currently on a mission to lose a little weight. She is doing great on her diet and loves her twice-daily walks to help her reach her fitness goals. When she isn't playing, one of her absolute favorite pastimes is hanging out on the porch, listening to the sounds of nature, and watching the world go by.

 

This girl is highly treat-motivated and incredibly trainable, but her true expertise is in professional cuddling. Lucille thrives on physical affection. In fact, if you stop petting her before she is quite finished, she has the most endearing ways of reminding you of your duties. She will wrap her paw around your arm or shove her head right back under your hand to make sure you get back to the job at hand! A ball and belly scratches will sustain her, and she is ready to bring a lifetime of love to her new forever family.
