Meet Frodo Waggins!

If you're looking for a dog who will make you laugh every single day, you've found him.

Frodo is an 18-month-old Schnauzer mix with a goofy personality, endless enthusiasm, and a heart that seems to love everyone he meets. Whether he's bouncing with excitement for a walk, riding shotgun in the car, or leaning in for affection, this happy guy is all about living life to the fullest.

It's hard to believe someone could abandon a dog this loving. Sadly, he was found all alone tied to a shopping cart outside a Food 4 Less in North Hollywood.

The man who found him stayed by his side for over an hour, hoping someone would come back. He searched the area, posted on Nextdoor, and checked for a microchip—but no one ever claimed him. Thankfully, a local rescuer stepped in and connected him with Shelter Hope, where he's now getting the second chance he deserves.

Frodo hasn't let his past steal his joy. He's playful, affectionate, and always ready to be part of whatever you're doing. He loves people, enjoys adventures, and has a fun, expressive personality that makes him impossible not to smile around.

As a young dog, he'll thrive with an active family who can keep up with his playful spirit. Walks, hikes, games in the yard, weekend outings—Frodo is happiest when he's included. Once he's had a chance to burn off some energy, he's more than happy to relax with his favorite people.

One thing to know: this boy has some impressive hops! A home with a tall, secure fence will help keep him safe while he plays and explores.

Neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped, he's ready to go home.
