Meet Max a handsome black German Shepherd.
Max is a well-trained boy who knows commands like sit, stay, place, and heel. He is both crate trained and trustworthy when left alone in the home, making him an easy companion in the right environment. Despite his strong, protective nature, Max is actually a bit of a “lazy bones” who enjoys relaxing and lounging around with his person.
He is deeply loyal and naturally protective, forming strong bonds with his owner. Max can be shy when meeting new people and takes a little time to warm up, but once he trusts you, he is incredibly devoted.
Max would do best as the only dog in the home, as he prefers not to share his space with other pets. While he has been around kids in the past, he would thrive most in an adult-only household where things are calm and predictable. Because of his temperament, he would also do best with an experienced German Shepherd owner who understands the breed and can provide confident leadership!
