Leo is a healthy 9-year-old Australian Cattle Dog mix looking for an active home. We adopted him as a puppy in 2017 — he's been the best dog, but our lives have changed with young kids and he deserves more time and exercise than we can give him.He's a velcro dog in the best way. Off-leash he's a star: stays close, scouts ahead on trails, checks in constantly, comes immediately when called. Fully house-trained, crate-trained, good on a leash. Smart, attentive, easy to live with.Great with kids (lives with ours) and friendly with other dogs. Heads up: he has a herding dog's natural nipping instinct. His favorite thing is chasing his blue ball — he'll do it for hours. He'd thrive with an active adult, retiree, runner, or hiker who's been wanting a working-breed companion without the puppy years.Up to date on shots, neutered, microchipped, no health issues.
